The population of Marion County in Salem, Oregon is about 25 percent Latino, but the nursing staff at Salem Hospital is approximately 2 percent Latino.
Soon, that will change. Like many hospitals across the country, Salem Hospital is developing strategies to combat this issue, and recruit and retain a more diverse workforce.
