Mission Statement
The mission of Mount Aloysius College is to respond to individual and community needs with quality programs of education in the tradition of the Religious Sisters of Mercy. The emphasis is on hands-on experience, challenging class work and personal attention. Classes are small, so professors spend extra time with each student, and faculty advisors are available whenever you have a question or need a hand. Mount Aloysius College values a comprehensive and liberal arts education. Therefore, the College has developed Core Goals and Learning Outcomes as well as Core Course Requirements in both the Bachelor's and Associate's degrees for its matriculated students.
Program Offerings
More than 50 academic program offerings on the undergraduate and graduate levels in Health Sciences and Nursing, Humanities, Education, Social Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences, Business Administration and Pre-Professional Study. Students may choose from more than 20 concentrations and minors.

Choose Where You'll Live
As a resident student you'll live in one of the residence halls. You get your own phone line and Internet link, and each room has cable-TV access. Ihmsen Hall has TV lounges, an outdoor patio, and other gathering spaces for socializing. In Misciagna Hall students have a living rooms, kitchenettes, common areas, and a study lounge. And safety is a priority in all of the residence halls-we have 24-hour key-card access, with professional residence directors and student resident assistants.

Mount Aloysius College athletics are deeply entrenched in a winning tradition! Our athletes have represented the College on the national level with the highest degree of pride and excellence.
Students are offered an opportunity to participate in thirteen different varsity-level intercollegiate sports.
Mount Aloysius is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-III), and also a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC).
