    Liberty University is a private, accredited, co-educational, Christian university that offers degree programs at the certificate, associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Liberty University is dedicated to Training Champions for Christ, individuals who are leaders in their career field and ambassadors for Jesus Christ in their everyday lives.

    The Liberty Mountain Snowflex Centre is the country’s premier point for year-round skiing, snowboarding and tubing. Composed of beginner, intermediate and advanced slopes and a two-story lodge, this high-performance playground is the first of its kind in the U.S. The LaHaye Ice Center is home to Liberty men’s and women’s hockey, as well as several ice skating teams.

    Facility Information

    Liberty has a 6,500 acre campus in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Academic space includes classrooms, labs, a library, computer labs, a School of Law, Liberty Theological Seminary, study lounges and more. Liberty’s recreation facilities round out the campus with many options for the active student, including 60 miles of hiking, biking and running trails, a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, an ice rink, archery range, disc golf course, equestrian center and several sports fields. A new addition to Liberty, Ivy Lake, is a 112-acre park within miles of campus, which has been landscaped with a new beach and dock and serves as home for the Liberty crew team.
